My Mission
Why I make films.
I believe high quality story telling should be accessible to people and organisations doing valuable work, even when they don’t have large budgets.
I make films about people, places and the things that make communities work; independent businesses, charities, social enterprises, youth organisations and people building something because they believe it should exist.
The aim isn’t to make an organisation look bigger than it is.
It’s to help people understand why it matters.
My Story
I’ve spent years working across television, film, digital and commercial production in London, America and Japan.
Along the way I’ve worked with organisations including BAFTA, Channel 4, Netflix, Google and Adidas.
As well as helping me build a creative and practical skillset, these experiences alongside starting a family in a rapidly changing world, have increasingly made me interested in stories happening closer to home, that priorities purpose over profit and what they mean for our future.
The independent business that has become part of its neighbourhood.
The youth organisation creating a place where young people want to be.
A charity quietly changing the lives of its community.
These stories are often more complex and more interesting than a conventional promotional film allows. They are often about human relationships, emotions, desire for change, the landscape and environments they unfold in.
Just because something is small, doesn’t mean it lacks ambition, impact or a story. As with every human, often they contain all three.
